Dinkum's cool new Cappuccino

Launched at Hospitality 2005, Dinkum's new twist on iced cappuccino - Cappuccino Cool - managed to outsell the company's Fresh Shakes thick milkshake brand.

Dinkum M.D., Ken Richards, says the new drink is not so much a product as a fully branded concept. All customers have to do is supply the milk; the rest is supplied in a package by the company.

Made by stirring the ingredients into ice cold milk, mixing it for three seconds on a Dinkum machine and then either pouring it over or blending it with ice for a frappe style drink, the starter pack costs about £60.

This includes five 500g bags of Cappuccino Cool ingredients, one stainless steel canister for storage of the ingredients and a choice of 200 branded, clear plastic domed lid cups or 10 branded latte type glasses, straws and point of sale material.
